In recent years, rapid improvements in the management of patients with chest pain have resulted in improved patient outcomes, as well as more effective use of personnel, facilities, and financial resources.
Stratus® CS Center of Excellence Requirements
"Stratus® CS Center of Excellence" is granted to medical facilities that conduct exemplary cardiac point-of-care testing (POCT) programs in their Emergency Departments (ED).
To qualify, a facility must:
- Demonstrate a high-level of commitment to meeting the guidelines of the American College of Cardiology, American Heart Association, and other leading organizations for the diagnosis, triage, and care of chest pain patients
- Make continuous quality improvements to the management of chest pain patients using a multidisciplinary team (lab, ED, cardiology)
- A Process Champion(s) that can articulate their facility's protocols
- Operate the Stratus® CS Acute CareTM Diagnostic System in a non-laboratory environment
- Track and be able to clearly communicate pre- and post-POCT implementation metrics
